Make A Plate
The annual Make-A-Plate Youth Department Fundraiser is back this September! Make-A-Plate is a yearly tradition for many families. It is a way to watch your child grow each year, with their favorite activities and colors added to a plate they can eat from. Children, teens, and adults draw onto a template, and then it is shipped to MakIt, where it is transformed into a melamine plate or bowl that can be used as décor or for eating. Stop by the library between September 8th and 23rd to pick up your templates, instructions, and to pay for your creation – or stay at the library to make it in person. Create your Thanksgiving plate, Santa’s cookie plate, or memorable favorites of your child of the year. Payment is due upon signing up, with the option to choose between a plate or a bowl. Cost is $20 or 2/$35: cash or check only (write checks out to Friends of the Conneaut Public Library). All templates must be returned no later than Tuesday, September 23rd.
