Books We LOVED! Check out the books our library staff read in 2024 that they LOVED! Jenna I loved the Flight and Glory Series by Rebecca Yarros - specifically Eyes Turned Skyward! I loved them because it's an easy read and you fall in love with the characters' stories fast!
Ivory One Dark Window by Rachel Gillig. It's a good gothic fantasy in a world where all magic comes with a price. Amanda Believe: The Untold Story Behind Ted Lasso by Jeremy Egner. Usually nonfiction books aren't my jam - but this one showcased the behind the scenes of the show my husband and I love watching over and over. I believe in the Ted Lasso effect: be curious, not judgmental. Ashley A Place For Vanishing by Ann Fraistat.
A dark fantasy book that gave me Coraline vibes, very creative and creepy. I still can't stop thinking about it! Molly Get In My Swamp by G.M. Fairy. It's like an adult Shrek story and I love Shrek! Cindy Elevation by Stephen King. Overall, "Elevation" is a heartwarming story. It’s a quick but impactful read. Other February Holidays!
