Ivory has been a valued part of our library family for years, and we are so grateful for the passion, creativity, and dedication she brings every day. With a background in graphic design and a love for all things crafty, she’s already dreaming up fun, engaging, and inspiring experiences just for our teens. ✨ She’s especially excited to connect with young readers—particularly those who love getting lost in fantasy worlds as much as she does! Ivory has always had a heart for working with teens, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to see her step into a role that truly reflects her talents and passions.

National Library Week "I'm So Happy You're Here" Award-winning librarian, author, and new host of the children’s program “Reading Rainbow” Mychal Threets will serve as Honorary Chair of National Library Week. “Find Your Joy,” is an invitation for people of all backgrounds to explore and discover what sparks joy in them at the library. The theme amplifies a message that is ever-present in Threets’ recurring viral videos about the innumerable ways people can find joy in the library, and in his debut picture book, I’m So Happy You’re Here: A Celebration of Library Joy, publishing on February 3, 2026.

Get ready to turn up the heat at the Conneaut Public Library’s first ever “Red Hot Reads: A Spicy Book Club”—kicking off Wednesday, April 29th at 4:30PM! Adults 18 and over are invited to BYOB (Bring Your Own Book) and dish about the steamiest stories they’ve read. Come share your favorite spicy tales, swap book recs, and enjoy some sizzling conversation! *Disclaimer: Due to mature content, this book club is only for adults 18 and older. April 11th - National Pet Day: it encourages adopting pets, showering them with treats, and ensuring their safety and health. April 13th - National Peach Cobbler Day: honor the classic American dessert, which gained popularity in the 19th century as a simple, rustic dish. April 24th - World Women's Wellness Day: empowers women to prioritize their physical, mental, and emotional health. April 25th - Celebrate Trails Day: is a spring celebration encouraging people to enjoy the nation's trail systems. This day encourages walking, biking, and running on local trails to highlight their health, community, and economic benefits. Ashtabula County Metroparks Celebrate Earth Day Celebrate Earth Day by exploring the impact of climate change through a diverse collection of environmentally conscious documentaries and graphic novels.
